Brief History:

Nathandriel was born/built in around 1984 by a group of people based in a property, known as  Dark Wood, near Huddersfield.

His name, allegedly, comes from someone mispronouncing "Neanderthal" and it has stuck.

Nathandriel represents himself - he has been described by his builders as a Romano-British soldier, perhaps a mythical Celt who has come by a gladius. 

Details of his construction remain shrouded in mystery (apply to the guardians for details when you see him resting at events). 

Like the ship of Theseus, parts of Nathandriel have changed, or been re-engineered, over the years but he is still the same giant.

Nathandriel is one of the easiest large Giants to assemble, carry and dance in the UK.  The record for assembly is 20 minutes, set by his Patriarch & Matriarch at the world student games in Sheffield.

Others giants look sweeter, are lighter, less trouble and less bitey but there is only one Nathandriel. 

"Children... Little children... I love them... for breakfast..."

Availability

Nathandriel is always up for a visit - as long as the destination is Giant friendly; flat(ish) terrain, firm under foot (gravel and mud are not safe). Somewhere to keep him dry should it rain is a bonus. For multi day events it is essential that there is secure storage (for example a Church hall/Community space with big doors and 4m headroom is adequate)

His current guardians work term times but weekends throughout the year are available and various dates in Welsh school holidays are a possibility,

Drop his current guardian an email with details of your event and, if the stars align, you could have him wandering around your venue.

There are costs involved with every appearance but these are negotiable - it may be worth noting Nathandriel does not appear for "exposure" or "publicity".
